ABOUT

Norma Loche was born in Rome, where she attended the Academy of Fine Arts and graduated with honors in Painting in 2016.
Always deeply influenced and fascinated by the great masters, aesthetics, and technical virtuosity she acquired during her studies, she initially dedicated herself to realistic representations.

However, a new chapter of her life began when she moved to Spain and traveled through India and Latin America. She started exhibiting in Catalan galleries and became part of the painters of Port Vell, developing a new artistic perspective that led to a stylistic shift: she abandoned traditional forms of representation in favor of an instinctive approach, where colors became a means of expression aimed at stirring the unconscious.

In her works, colors are never confined by outlines; they are always on the verge of exploding and expanding. Her intent is not to depict a specific episode or landscape but rather to evoke an atmosphere, leaving room for free interpretation by the viewer.

Her goal is to find beauty in the world around her and express it with vibrancy and freshness, free from any convention or constraint. She seeks to emotionally engage the viewer, immersing them in the overwhelming power of color.
